An aluminum panel protective film application must keep the visible finish protected from lamination through fabrication, transport, installation and controlled removal. It is relevant to mill-finish, anodized, brushed, painted, powder-coated and coil-coated aluminum, including aluminum composite panels. The main risks are trapped particles, scratches, edge lift, film movement, difficult peeling, residue and coating appearance change. Selection should be based on the actual surface, coating condition, fabrication stress, expected exposure and removal stage—not thickness or tack alone—and should be confirmed through an actual-panel trial before full use.
