Protective film for medical carpets is useful when controlled passages stay operational during personnel movement, trolley traffic, maintenance, or temporary installation work. The key is not maximum adhesion: film must remain stable at doors, turns, overlaps, and traffic hotspots while staying compatible with planned removal. Selection should balance carpet construction, surface treatment, traffic pattern, dwell time, environment, and operator method. In cleanroom or controlled areas, approve the system on the actual carpet before full-area application and retest when surface, traffic, or protection time changes.
